The homemade cakes are to die for!
Beautiful view of the Höllengebirge and on the way to the Alm also of the Attersee. There is a small chapel at the top.
For your information, based on a review - there is no schnitzel (???) at the Födinger Alm, I guess I confused the company.
My wife, my 9 year old daughter and I went on a 2.5 hour hike. When we were there we were told the kitchen was closed because they were closing in an hour. Clearly a lie because they brought another schnitzel 5 minutes later. Definitely never again!!!!

The Födinger Alm is simply a wonderful destination. Especially if you are with children or want to quickly escape from everyday life. In a short time, you can get to the alpine pasture on a beautiful forest path, from Bach (Weyregg) in about 1 hour. There you have a great view of the mountains opposite.
There is a hut where you can eat small, good meals. The hut people are nice.

Very nice winter hike with lots of snow to the Födingeralm. Ate delicious Beuschl and drank Weihenstefan wheat beer. Raspberry cake and mulled wine tasted great. At the end there was a schnapps from the always friendly landlord Franz. Thanks for the friendly service, we'll be back 🤣🤣🤣 …
